Our Foundation joined the European Union youth mobility programs in 1998. The Leonardo da Vinci mobility program and the European Voluntary Service are two programs that promote the opportunity for young people to have foreign experiences. Artemisszió participates as a sending, hosting and coordinating organization in both programs. As of now, we have provided more than 200 young people from all over Europe and Hungary with an opportunity for voluntary work and foreign professional placement within the framework of these programs. The Foundation received a Mobility Quality Award from the Tempus Public Foundation and the Ministry of Education for its 2001 sending project which allowed socially disadvantaged young people from Hungary to have a three-month professional placement experience in Italy and France.
